The SP & Simulation SIG is dedicated to supporting those working with standardized patients, hybrid simulations (combination of SPs and task trainers such as pelvic and Harvey cardiac simulators), and hi-tech biosimulators such as Meti-Man or Sim-Man. The current collaborative project topic is patient safety. The group plans to discuss this over summer 2009 in order to pilot patient safety cases/exercises at multiple schools in the 2009-2010 curricular year.
